Why we Blog!!

Chassity and I are so pumped about what God is doing through our blog!! I was in the middle of doing my resume when a received a message from a complete stranger. I can not explain the emotions that ran through me but I will say my entire body was taken over by chills and just really wanting to break down and cry!! We receive daily messages about how our blog has blessed people who are struggling in marriage. This is exactly why we blog because in the worst of circumstances God can reign and restore any problems in marriage....ANY!! With the exception of a few extreme circumstances!! If a spouse is abusive then he/she needs their rear end kicked and I'm thinking I could formulate a butt kicking crew to deal with such wusses for men!!

We have received far more positive comments and encouragement from our blog than we have negative. Some think that airing our business out to the WWW is absurd. We feel completely opposite and really dont care what anyone else thinks. We know that God is calling us to minister and be a light to others that are having issue in marriage and that is exactly what we are going to do. This is not about US...its about how we can glorify Jesus through our struggles and save as many marriages as we can through our testimony. I truly feel God has big plans for this affair stricken marriage and we are gonna follow HIS plan as best we can!! There are some really good things happening right now with the both of us and without a doubt i know its because we are being obedient in our daily walk!! Might I mention we are not being PERFECT!!

I am so encouraged to post the message that I just received and will be praying for this couple and family as they work through their issues. I encouraged this young lady that throwing in the towel was not an option that she needs to fight for her marriage!! The message speaks volumes of how our blog is blessing so many people. This is just one of many messages that we have received....... Read....Enjoy....and PRAY for this couple.

By the way....I have something really cool in the works that is just killing Chassity that she does not know. All my Kenya Mission Family.....lets do this!!!

Hello John, I just wanted to say that this whole "fighting for our marriage" that you and your beautiful wife are sharing is such an inspiration to me, as my marriage has not had infidelity but has been very rocky.. So, the way im seeing this is that if any two human beings can work through something as big as this situation, anyone can work through anything.. I don't really know you guys but, just reading the blog I really and truly have Faith that my marriage WILL be saved... I was almost at the breaking point.. But i really have faith now!! I just want to thank you and you wife for sharing this.. See I really think God allows others to cross our paths for a reason and at the time that I was looking for a vehicle he sent you my way!! Even thought I did not buy it you were meant to cross my path And share your story at that time, so that my marriage would be salvaged as well.. Because had I not just read the blog of Miss. Willow Grace.. I really do not know where my thoughts of my marriage would be.. So, I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart!! Best of wishes and many prayers..You guys are amazing!!

Progress on Fundraising for Mission Trip

I am completely astonished at the progress that we have experienced in our efforts to raise funds for the mission trip. The support of our friends, family, and local businesses have been such a blessing. We are approximately two months from our first full payment for the trip and we have raised enough funds to pay for one of us to go. That is not bad for a non-aggressive approach to raising funds. We have been so blessed that our family, friends, and local businesses have supported our efforts. It seems that $7k is a lot to raise for a mission trip but when God is involved in the financial aspect of this mission it will be provided. We have not been real stressed about raising these funds because we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that it will be provided. We would like to thank many businesses that have contributed to the raffle that we are currently conducting. These businesses include- Palm Beach Tan, Golds's Gym (Aiken), Aloette (Kim), Laser Carwash (by Walmart Aiken), Carolina Kodekan (Chris and Tiffany Garland), Houndslake Country Club, and Cheveaux Salon and Spa. All of these businesses in our local community have donated their time and products for free in order for us to raise funds for our mission trip. We are extremely grateful for everyone's support!! Chassity will be holding a garage sell this weekend to raise funds for the mission trip. Please pray that this garage sale will be successful and we will be able to rid of a lot of junk. You know the old saying " another man's trash is another man's treasure"! Well, we hope our trash is treasure this weekend!!

Fundraising For Kenya Mission Trip

We are in the infant stages of fundraising for our Kenya mission trip. We will be traveling with approximately 30 others from all campuses of Newspring Church. The mission group will be partnering with 410 Bridge who connects people and organizations with communities in Kenya, building a bridge that utilizes our God given gifts to serve one another.

”...and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 1:8

We each have to raise $3500 to go and accomplish this mission that God has called to accomplish . This is going to be quite challenging but we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God will provide for us to go to the far ends of the earth to teach his Gospel and show his LOVE!! We have sent out letters for support from our friends, family, and businesses in a effort to support this mission. Your support and prayers are greatly appreciated!
